Meet our amazing team of volunteers

Our outstanding team of volunteers make it possible for us to support even more authors, projects and community initiatives than we could otherwise! As a charity press, it’s important to us to create meaningful, skill-building opportunities that genuinely support our volunteers’ long-term career goals. Many of our volunteers are students or early-career professionals balancing university, work or other commitments, so we intentionally structure roles to be flexible, manageable, and developmental at a relatively low weekly time commitment. Whether supporting publishing, mentoring, social media, outreach or grant writing, our volunteers work alongside the Arkbound team to gain practical experience, build confidence and develop clear pathways into publishing, charity and creative industries while helping us amplify underrepresented voices and stories.
